Litter Plans
Wildfire Reg'd Vizsla's

Our breeding practices are conservative, we produce one litter every 12 to 18
months. Our goal in breeding is to produce healthy, biddable and sound puppies
that can be successful in the show ring, the field, agility, obedience, as a therapy or
assistance dogs as well as a beloved family members and pets.

Each breeding is carefully planned and researched to make the best possible match,
accounting for all the above factors. We consider pedigrees, health tests and the
selection of the stud dog is made to complement and improve upon our lines.

Puppies are raised in our home, being exposed daily to our young children and other
dogs. We expose them to many different objects, toys, locations, people (family and
lots and lots of visitors), and challenges. We also begin introductory housebreaking
and crate training. In addition, starting with our 2010 litter, we also plan on clicker
training all the puppies.

All puppies are sold to approved homes only. Included is CKC registration and all
puppies are microchiped, as well they are all on a contract which provides for a 3
year health guarantee against genetic defects. Puppies go to their new homes with a
blanket that smells like mom/littermates, toy, leash, collar and  bag of food as well
as lots of training & care information. I do provide lifetime support for all of my
puppies and do include a return clause in my contract that I be able to obtain dog
back if for any reason you are unable to keep the dog. This helps to prevent our dogs
from being placed in a shelter or rescue situation.

If you are interested in a puppy from this litter, please contact us for information on
how to be placed on the waiting list. To be considered for a puppy, all prospective
puppy owners must complete our  questionnaire.  Please note that sending back the
questionnaire will not put you on our waiting list by itself - you must also meet with
us in person before you are approved and added to our waiting list. If you are
approved for one of our puppies you will be required to make a non-refundable
deposit once pregnancy is confirmed.

Please note that as we only have puppies occasionally, we recommend that you
speak with us in advance of your needs and avoid disappointment. Waiting lists for
puppies fill up quickly, frequently before the breeding occurs.

If you wish to apply for a Wildfire puppy, please
e-mail us and we will be happy to
answer any questions for you.

We are also considering placing one of the puppies from the upcoming litter in a
'foster' home that will allow us to show and field train the puppy, this will be done by
individual contract that would be mutually agreeable to both parties. If you are
interested in fostering please speak to us for further information.

If you have never owned a Vizsla before, please make sure that this is the right breed
for you. Please visit our
links page for additional information and resources.

Autumn will be bred to Brok around April 2010, with puppies
expected around June 2010.
We expect puppies will have
excellent conformation, strong field desire and high energy.
